Your New Home Warranty
Eligible Chris Brown Homes are enrolled in a written new-home warranty administered by Residential Warranty Company, LLC (RWC).
1-Year Workmanship
& Materials
Warranty standards for qualifying workmanship and materials apply during the applicable coverage period, subject to the terms, exclusions, limitations, and performance standards contained in the RWC warranty documents issued for the home.
2-Year Selected
Mechanical Systems
Selected portions of plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and other mechanical systems may be covered as specifically described in the applicable RWC warranty documents.
10-Year Structural Coverage
Structural coverage applies to qualifying covered structural components according to the structural standards, definitions, limits, exclusions, and responsibilities stated in the applicable RWC warranty documents.
How the Warranty Process Works
RWC instructs homeowners to follow the warranty-performance procedures contained in the warranty book issued for their home.
Follow Your Builder's Instructions
Contact Chris Brown Homes using the warranty instructions provided for your home and clearly describe the concern.
Provide Written Notice
If the issue remains unresolved, provide clear and specific written notice describing the concern and requesting a response.
Notify RWC
Follow the notice requirements and applicable timeframes in your warranty book. RWC's online claim form may also be used.
Warranty Resolution
RWC may review documentation, communicate with the parties, inspect the home, mediate unresolved issues, or use other procedures provided in the applicable warranty documents.
Emergency Situations
If there is an immediate threat to life, health, or safety, CALL 911.
Do not delay emergency services while attempting to contact Chris Brown Homes or submit a warranty request.

- Suspected gas leak
- Immediate electrical danger
- Serious flooding or active water emergency
- Dangerous loss of heat during severe weather
- Other immediate threats to health or safety
Manufacturer Warranties
Certain products may carry separate warranties provided by their manufacturers or suppliers.

- Windows
- Roofing products
- Garage door equipment
Manufacturer warranties are governed by the applicable manufacturer's own terms, conditions, registration requirements, exclusions, and claim procedures.
Homeowner Maintenance
Proper homeowner maintenance is important. The warranty book identifies homeowner maintenance responsibilities and conditions that may be excluded from warranty coverage.
Homeowners should also follow manufacturer maintenance and operating instructions for products and equipment installed in the home.
